Bambi's "Love me tender" feature artwork for Cancer Research's Art auction -Bidding is now open!

This March, Graffik Gallery is supporting Cancer Research UK’s Sound & Vision event taking place at Abbey Road Studios, hosted by Davina McCall.

The event hopes to raise £400k for the Stand Up To Cancer Campaign.

At this year’s event they will be celebrating the history of Abbey Road Studios as well as continuing the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Beatles album Abbey Road. 190 guests will be attending the evening and will get to enjoy drinks, dinner and performances from the incredible Texas and Jack  Savoretti.
A significant element of the evening is their silent auction which is made up of music memorabilia, art and photography.

Bambi on "Love me Tender"

I’ve always loved the look & the music of the legend that is Elvis In this piece inspired by the photographic image of Elvis used from a still from the movie Flaming Star, which has become iconic and synonymous with the singer.
Elvis has abandoned his iconic gun in favour of a more peaceful bouquet of flowers ....not so macho, armed, and dangerous. touching on the subject of The Second Amendment 'The Right To Bear Arms ‘ which is the people's right to possess weapons for their own defence, is a very interesting & sensitive subject that I’m very interested in commenting on
...my image is a thought provoking quest for a more peaceful world where we don’t want or need to be armed ... an utopia!!!
